Well, John crossed safely over the bridge and into Louisiana!  He was joined on the final day in Texas by a number of runners.  Some of them are members of the Golden Triangle Strutters (GTS).  Among the GTS runners were Jeremy Fermo, William Fermo and Ivy Pie.

Another runner who came out to join John and make sure he made it safely into Louisiana is Larry "Laz" The Trooper On The Run.  Laz is a State Trooper with the State of Texas and is also an UltraRunner who has completed several 100 Milers and also crewed at Badwater.

Also, we were comped another room by the fine people of Hampton Inn Hotels.  This particular stay was at Hampton Inn Orange, TX.  As a matter of fact, John and Chris drove back to Orange, TX after crossing the border to stay at this hotel.  The staff was lead by Lucy Liu and everyone was overly kind and helpful.  We cannot say enough about our stay with them!
