The dream has become a reality. A philanthropist here in our home base of Sarasota, Fla., recently contributed enough funds to help us get the Run off the ground, but now the work starts in earnest.

We need your help to make this Run happen! In order to send our runners across the country to raise funds on a national level for wounded warriors, we need your gift now to provide the support it will require to get our team on the road.

With a grassroots effort of the thousands of individuals giving even $5, $10 or $20 dollars, we can make this happen. 

Why are we doing this? Well, it's not about runners John, Jim and Brad  and their athletic feat, or even the Run itself. It's to raise money and awareness for the people who put their lives on the line for this country every day. It's to raise $1 million dollars for the Wounded Warrior Project, supporting the thousands of soldiers returning home from conflicts and to provide assistance for their families. 

We can only do that with your help. And while the Run itself starts in March, we need your help now to get this thing on the road! With the national impact the movement creates, we will be able leverage your donation, bringing in many multiples of your original gift.
